Despite the blustery weather, four dedicated anglers spent their lunch hour at MI-60 testing the water for the upcoming Spring Open. Of course, the Spring Open doesn't officially start until April 1st, but that didn't stop Tomski, Bridgett, Tim and Steve from wetting their lines.

The fishing was slow, but Tim managed to land two beautiful largemouth bass. Steve and Bridgett were skunked, but Tomski did manage a large fishing line birdsnest that delayed his angling for a good 15 minutes.
In other news, Tim has managed to obtain a new scale (see picture below) for his anticipated fish this year. It was pointed out that it really seems like a fall restrain device, but rest assured it can be used to measure the larger fish.
